The magnificent city of Berlin, offers a wide range of tourist attractions starting with a vast collection of Museums to beautiful parks, making a holiday certainly worth while. Museumsinsel (“Museum Island) is the place best known for Pergamon-Museum, housing a large collection of ancient Greek, Middle-Eastern and Islamic art and architecture, the Altes Museum with is amazing Egyptian and antique collection, the Alte Nationalgalerie, Bode Museum, known for its magnificent sculpture collection.

If you are interested in history or simply wish to know more the Deutches Historisches Museum and the Jüdisches Museum give you a great inside into the history of the country and the Jews in Berlin. The open-air museum, Topography of Terror gives you a clear picture of what happened in the Nazi regime, consisting of excavated prison cells under the ruins of the Berlin Wall, it is certainly worth a trip.
